Beyond the browser

Your desktop becomes a recordable workspace.

DesktopBeast captures the active Windows experience—not just a webpage. It preserves visible proof, readable text where possible, and the surrounding context needed to understand what was captured.

APP

Applications

Document software work, creative tools, utilities, testing sessions, and the state of a running application.

GAME

Games

Capture game states, interfaces, results, discoveries, and on-screen evidence from supported titles.

AI

AI Clients

Preserve interactions from desktop AI software and other non-browser conversational environments.

DOC

Documents

Record visible document context when copying text alone would lose layout, application state, or provenance.

What it preserves

More than a screenshot.

DesktopBeast pairs a PNG proof artifact with extractable text and capture context. That makes the result easier to search, review, describe, and integrate into a serious documentation workflow.

  • Active-window PNG proof artifact
  • OCR text extraction where readable
  • Window and process metadata
  • Capture time and tool identity
  • Privacy-signal notes
  • Local review workflow
Desktop Evidence File

Visible proof + readable context

A screenshot preserves pixels. A DesktopBeast record is designed to preserve the image, extract useful text, describe the source window, and carry the provenance needed for later review.

Understand Evidence Files
One TechBeast ecosystem

BrowserBeast and DesktopBeast work from the same premise.

BrowserBeast captures the structured web. DesktopBeast captures the active Windows desktop. Together they cover the places where research, AI work, software sessions, documents, and digital experiences actually happen.

Both are built around local control, deliberate capture, human review, and provenance-rich Evidence Files.

The larger vision

Built for the TechBeast Library.

Individual captures are useful. A searchable, organized body of records is more powerful.

DesktopBeast is being developed as the professional center of the suite, with TechBeast Library compatibility providing the path toward reviewing, organizing, and reusing Evidence Files created across browser and desktop workflows.

The capture-to-library path

  1. Capture from BrowserBeast or DesktopBeast.
  2. Review the Evidence File locally.
  3. Preserve source, time, tool, and context.
  4. Organize compatible records through the TechBeast Library vision.
  5. Reuse the material in research, documentation, recall, or AI workflows.
Early Access

Help shape the flagship.

DesktopBeast v1.0 EA RC2 is currently available for Windows and temporarily free during Early Access. The product is still being tested across real applications and games, and some protected or unusual surfaces may not capture as expected.

Review before sharing.

Desktop captures can preserve account details, messages, local paths, file names, and anything else visible in the captured window. Early Access users should inspect every record before distributing it.
